Josh Allen is an accomplished musician, educator, and community member based in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He moved to Tahlequah with his family at a young age and attended school in the local district before obtaining his music education degree from Northeastern State University. He has served for 23 years as a band director in the Tahlequah public school system, where he has also held various leadership positions in the Oklahoma band director community.
Josh is an associate pastor at Love Light Christian Center and, together with his wife, operates the Wings of Tahlequah Faith-Based Sober Living Program. He and his wife have a son who recently graduated from Tahlequah High School. In his free time, Josh enjoys pursuing various hobbies like playing music, traveling, gardening, and scuba diving.
Josh is deeply committed to the Tahlequah community and helping it thrive. He believes that he can bring valuable skills and expertise to the table as the city faces important decisions and challenges moving forward.
