Recycle Drop-Off

The Oklahoma Production Center, in accordance with the City of Tahlequah, operates a recycling drop-off center located at the south gate entrance at the Solid Waste Department. Recycling is the process of collecting and processing materials that would otherwise be thrown away as trash and turning them into new products. Recycling can benefit the community and the environment.

  • Aluminum Cans
  • Cardboard
  • Clean Plastic Number 1
  • Clean Plastic Number 2
  • Magazines
  • Metal
  • Office Paper
  • Paper (shredded paper must be in a clear plastic bag)
  • Tin Cans

Materials Not Accepted 

  • Any item the Solid Waste Department believes poses a threat to the environment and employee or customer safety
  • Concrete
  • Containers with free flowing liquids inside
  • Dirt
  • Explosive items
  • Light ballast
  • Microwaves
  • Oil filters
  • Radioactive Material
  • Sealed containers of tanks of any kind
  • Tires
  • Wood
