Application or notice to the mechanical inspector is not required for ordinary repairs. The mechanical inspector shall collect for the cost of mechanical inspections the following fees: $20 dollars per inspection within the corporate city limits and $25 dollars per inspection outside the corporate city limits. The applications shall be on the forms provided and approved by the mechanical inspector. Upon payment of the above fee and the approval of the mechanical inspector, the permit shall be issued.
